Exporadic Art: A Journey Through Artistic Exploration

Photography, a captivating medium with its magic and versatility, represents a significant point in my ongoing artistic journey. It allows me to capture the symphony of light, shapes, and colors that surround us, transforming fleeting moments into enduring images. This pursuit began with a foundational exploration of painting and drawing at Margarita Checa’s workshop in Lima and the United World College of the Adriatic in Italy. My desire for deeper understanding led me to study Art History at the Sorbonne in Paris and Plastic Arts at the Catholic University of Lima, Peru.

Further studies at City Lit in London immersed me in a vibrant cultural landscape, enriching my artistic perspective through countless museum and gallery exhibits. Returning to Lima, I continued my exploration with courses on Contemporary Art at Corriente Alterna and delved into the world of photography at the Photography Center. It was there, in the same space where I once discovered the alchemy of the darkroom, that I embraced the digital realm, learning the intricacies of digital cameras and editing.

The act of capturing the perfect frame, freezing a unique moment in time, is a visual delicacy. The world overflows with visual feasts, waiting to be discovered and appreciated. Each photograph becomes a lasting imprint of our fleeting existence, a potential connection point with others who resonate with the same artistic frequency. Through the lens, I strive to translate these Exporadic moments of beauty and connection into tangible forms. This continuous exploration fuels my artistic endeavors, driving me to seek and capture the essence of the world around me.
