EFI Live Tuning Delivery Options
We offer two primary methods for delivering your custom L5P EFI Live tune:
Email Delivery for Existing EFI Live Owners
If you already own an EFI Live AutoCal or FlashScan V2, we can email your custom tune file directly to you. This allows for a quick and convenient tuning process. However, your AutoCal must be unlinked from any previous tuner before loading our tunes. We’re happy to provide assistance with this unlinking process if needed.
Pre-loaded AutoCal Purchase
For those who don’t own an EFI Live AutoCal or FlashScan V2, we offer pre-loaded devices. Purchasing a pre-loaded AutoCal from us simplifies the process, minimizes truck downtime, and ensures you have everything needed to tune your L5P.
L5P EFI Live Tuning: ECU Unlock Requirements
Important: Tuning your L5P with EFI Live requires an ECU unlock. The L5P utilizes the E41 ECU, which needs to be unlocked before any EFI Live-based tunes can be flashed. Critically, EFI Live tunes are only compatible with ECUs unlocked using the Avto platform. If your ECU was unlocked using a different method, our tunes will not be compatible. Attempting to flash a tune onto an incompatibly unlocked ECU will render the ECU unusable, and no refunds will be issued in this situation. We offer ECU unlocking services using the Avto platform. Support and Updates
All our L5P EFI Live tunes include comprehensive remote support and unlimited free updates for most modifications. However, significant upgrades like switching to non-VGT turbos, twin or compound turbo setups, or injectors with a 30% or greater size increase may require additional tuning fees.
