- Your original warranty documents, the applicable transfer fee (which varies by state regulations), and proof of adherence to all maintenance requirements.
- Documentation confirming the change of vehicle ownership and the vehicle’s mileage at the time of transfer.
- If applicable, photocopies of documents submitted to the manufacturer verifying the transfer of the factory warranty.
Please be aware of the following conditions for transfer:
- The protection program is transferable to a new owner, not to a different vehicle.
- The vehicle may be subject to inspection prior to transfer.
- The transfer must be completed within 30 days of the vehicle ownership change.
- Transfers to vehicle dealers or their customers are prohibited.
- Contracts on leased vehicles are generally not transferable unless the original lessee is purchasing the vehicle.
- All remaining underlying warranties must be transferred to the new owner.

You will need to provide the dealership with copies of the required documents within 30 days of your cancellation date, depending on the reason for cancellation.
