Lithuania’s official representative of the German automotive giant BMW, Krasta Auto, is broadening its horizons in the used car market. Krasta Auto is expanding its dealership of pre-owned BMW and Mini automobiles in Lithuania, establishing a dedicated Automzone for customers seeking quality and reliability. Located in Vilnius at Ozo g. 10A, adjacent to their new car showroom, the company has inaugurated a 480 sq. meter facility designed exclusively for showcasing and selling used vehicles backed by a warranty.
Lina Paulauskienė, the head of Krasta Auto Vilnius, stated, “In recent years, we’ve observed a rising demand for dependable used cars. This is largely due to the evolving secondary car market, where an increasing number of buyers are looking for a trustworthy pre-owned vehicle that has been vetted by an official manufacturer representative, comes with a warranty, and has a complete service history. Therefore, establishing a specialized used car automzone is a natural step in expanding this area of our business.”
The dealership anticipates its inventory to feature a diverse range of vehicles, encompassing various ages and mileages. “We recognize the need for cars ranging from nearly new, 1-2 year old vehicles with just a few thousand kilometers, to 5-7 year old cars that have exceeded the 100,000 km mark. Vehicle prices will vary accordingly, but we project that a significant portion of models will be acquired through leasing, with average monthly installments of 300-400 Eur,” adds L. Paulauskienė.
The Vilnius used BMW and Mini automzone mirrors the size of the new car showroom, and will also see an expansion in service personnel. Prior to being offered for sale, every used car at Krasta Auto undergoes a comprehensive inspection of its condition parameters, service, and incident history. Furthermore, to enhance customer convenience, the dealership will manage all necessary paperwork and provide financing options. Even for vehicles outside the original 5-year or 200,000 km warranty, Krasta Auto extends an additional warranty of 20,000 km or 6 months on the engine piston group and gearbox.
Augustina Černiauskaitė, Head of Used Cars Business at Krasta Auto and its parent company Inchcape Motors, points out, “When purchasing cars, consumers are increasingly considering their resale value after a few years. This also fuels the desire to buy a car from a reliable seller, maintain it according to manufacturer recommendations, and sell it for a better price in the future. Moreover, it’s also more sustainable from an environmental perspective – properly maintained cars serve more reliably and longer.”
Krasta Auto’s used car automzone will also offer the “BMW Premium Selection” program. The “Premium Selection” certification is exclusively granted to used vehicles with a complete history, purchased and serviced at a BMW authorized service center. These vehicles undergo an exhaustive 360-point visual and technical inspection, and each car comes with a minimum 12-month warranty, ensuring peace of mind in this trusted automzone.

Černiauskaitė further adds that Krasta Auto will offer used BMW and Mini buyers the option to trade in their current vehicle, regardless of its brand. “This will provide added convenience for the customer, as they won’t have to worry about the car selling process,” concludes A. Černiauskaitė, making Krasta Auto a truly customer-centric automzone for used luxury vehicles.
